✨ Meet Freddy 🧡 — The Comeback King of Cream Tabby Charm! ✨
If you can’t adopt, please share to help this handsome boy find his forever throne 👑
Location: Lexington, SC
Name: Freddy
Age: ~1 year
Breed: DSH – Dilute Orange / Cream Tabby 🐈
M/F: Male
Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies & FVRCP 💉, neutered, microchipped, tatted, ear-tipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea prevention.
Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: Great with everyone he’s met — dogs, cats, and humans alike 🐶🐱👧
Aggression or medical issues?: No medical issues. Just not a fan of confinement — he gets stressed and frustrated when caged for too long.
Reason for rehoming?: Freddy was found on the side of the road in rough shape — panting, covered in ants, and completely exhausted 💔. After receiving care and regaining strength, he became reactive, so we initially thought he might be feral and TNRed him. But once he was placed in an open room with other cats, his true personality came out — and he’s been nothing but sweet ever since! Turns out, Freddy just hated being cooped up and needed the freedom to be his social, loving self again.
Additional info/story (personality):
Freddy is an affectionate little dude who LOVES treats, pets, and rubbing all over his humans 💞. He’s friendly, easy to handle, and perfectly fine being held. A little talkative (as most orange boys are), but not overly chatty — just enough to keep the conversation going 😸.
At around 8.5 lbs, he’s on the smaller side for a grown male, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in charm and personality. Freddy is the total package — sweet, social, and grateful for every bit of love he gets. 💫
📩 Message/comment if interested! Please include the animal’s name in your message, as I have several rescues I’m helping rehome.
📝 Adoption application & contract required to ensure a loving, permanent home.

Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
