My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This inquisitive girl was brought into Second Chance as a stray. After finding that her owner was suffering from long term health issues that meant he could no longer care for her we agreed to take her into our care, and she has been such a lovely resident. But she is still looking for her new home.
Nyx is curious and energetic, while at the shelter she is always thrilled to investigate her surroundings. Though she is also quite well mannered, especially on the leash. She loves the water.
Nyx is about five years old and was reported by the owners to be a Siberian husky mix. She has done well with other dogs though observations suggest she may not be well suited for a home with cats. Like all dogs at SCAA she has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
If you would like to learn more about her please reach out to at SCAA at 208-267-7504 or by email. We hope to hear from you soon!

Additional adoption info

After you submit an application, it is reviewed by our animal committee. This typically takes 2-4 days. When you are approved, our kennel manager will give you a call to set up a meet and greet if it is needed. If the meet and greet goes well, you will pay the adoption fee and take your pet home.
