My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious girl named Mona has had a rough beginning to her life. She was roaming the streets of Memphis looking for food and was brought in by Animal Control. There her life was on the line due to an overcrowded shelter. A good samaritan fostered her for a short time until they had health problems and could no longer take care of Mona. Once again, she was in dire need of a home. A boarding facility in GA stepped up and said they would house Mona until placed, but that was well over a year ago!

Sweet Mona has spent the last several years in a shelter or boarding and needs a soft place to land. She deserves a family of her own and we would like her to be in a home for the holidays. She can be FOSTERED or ADOPTED.

Mona is 6.5 years old and 55-57 lbs. She will be full vetted and spayed before being adopted. She has gotten along well with all people and dogs she's met. Please give this girl the gift of a nice home for the holidays. If you can help Mona, please text Julie on 919 624 0059

More about this rescue

Arcadia Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to saving the lives of animals that are at-risk either in shelters or in our communities, and placing them into safe and loving foster or adoptive homes.

As a 501c3 organization that receives no federal funding, we rely on the generosity of donors in order to provide life-saving veterinary care, spay and neuter, behavioral assessments and modification, emergency boarding, and transport to foster/adoptive homes.

Our philosophy is that rescue is a partnership. Together, our fosters, adopters, donors, supporters, and volunteers make this life-saving mission possible!
