Nano is a big-hearted, 3.5-year-old boy weighing 31 pounds, and he’s ready to leave his rough past behind and find a family to call his own! He came to us as a stray with a few bumps and bruises from life on the streets including a bad eye ulcer, infected ears, and some skin issues, but with care and love, he’s bounced back! His eye and ears have healed, his fur is growing back in nicely and he's feeling better than ever.
We think he might be a Pug-Frenchie mix, and his personality reflects just that: a little goofy, a little cuddly, and a whole lot of love. Nano is happiest when he’s close to his people, whether that’s snuggling on the couch, curling up for a nap, or following you from room to room. He’s gentle with treats, eager to please, and has been learning some basic tricks...with a patient owner, he could become quite the little performer!
Nano gets along well with other dogs and loves meeting new friends. Despite everything he’s been through, he hasn’t lost his spark or his affection for life. He’s playful, sweet, and ready to be someone’s loyal companion! He's the kind of dog who will happily share your couch, your heart, and maybe even a little mischief along the way.
This big, silly, loving boy is ready for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated every day. If you’re looking for a snuggly, goofy, affectionate friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Nano might just be your guy. Please inquire today!

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
