Millie – Caramel Female doodle 5 months, 25 lbs.

Max – Cream Male doodle, 5 months, 35 lbs

Two peas in a pod looking for their forever homes

Millie and Max are fluffy doodle siblings from the same litter, and they are rarely seen apart. Whether they are napping, playing, or just watching the world go by, these two are almost always cuddled up together.

Max is the high-energy rascal of the pair. He loves to play, explore, and chew, so he will need plenty of chew toys and supervision while he learns what is and is not acceptable. He is very smart and eager to learn, just mischievous in the way only a puppy can be. Max also has a funny habit of grooming Millie’s ears, so much so that one of her ears is often sopping wet. It is equal parts endearing and gross, and Millie does not seem to mind one bit.

Millie is the mellow sweetheart. She loves a good cuddle and is happiest when she is snuggled up with her people or her brother. She has a calm, gentle nature that balances Max’s playful energy perfectly.

Both puppies are doing well with potty training, with the occasional accident here and there, and they are very intelligent and easily trainable. They are bonding well with other dogs and have been incredibly gentle with their foster parents’ young nieces and nephews. While they have not been tested with cats or other animals, we expect they might do fine with proper introductions.

They do well during bath time but are still unsure about the hair dryer and brushing, so continued grooming exposure will be important. They currently hate their leashes and will need patient training so walks become enjoyable instead of a game of “mom pulls and I resist at all costs.” They are also being crate trained, and their foster parents are hopeful that full nights of sleep without puppy protests are just around the corner.

They are puppies, which means they are a lot of work, but for the right family with patience, consistency, and love, Millie and Max will grow into incredible family dogs.

If you are looking for fluff, personality, and a whole lot of love, these two are ready to steal your heart. Each pup can go separately but would need another doggy friend in their new home. Apply at www.labrescuefresno.org
