Hathaway is a smaller sized shepherd mix with a striking look - including one gorgeous, crystal-clear blue eye that's hard to forget. She's a thoughtful girl who may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, her softer side shines through.
In playgroup, Hathaway entered the yard a bit stiff and initially showed some dominant behaviors. With time and space, she was able to settle in and begin engaging in play. She did especially well with a shy female companion, showing she can read other dogs and adjust her approach to make them more comfortable.
Hathaway would do best with patient adopters who understand that she may need a little time to feel secure in new situations.
She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
