Shepp is a 2 and a half year old Beagle mix who is an absolutely perfect boy! He was brought to our rescue due to being used as a breeding dog in a puppy mill and since being at our rescue has thrived and looks absolutely amazing! He is a mix of brown and white with very unique eyes, as one is chocolate to hazel brown and the other is a piercing blue that will cause you to fall in love! He is both house and crate trained and is great on a leash! HE is great with any other dogs, cats and loves to play with kids! We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
