Meet Scooby
Scooby’s early life wasn’t easy. Abandoned as a puppy by a hoarder, he had to fight for every scrap of food and comfort. Now rescued and safe in foster care, he’s learning what love and trust feel like—and he’s ready to share it with the right family.
Personality:
Sweet, affectionate, and loyal
Certified snuggle bug who loves curling up with his humans
Medium energy: enjoys playtime, zoomies, and lounging equally
Nervous around new people and still getting used to the world
Dog Friends & Kids:
Selective with dogs—plays well with trusted friends after proper introductions
Not cat-friendly
Good with older kids
Skills & Training:
Knows sit, shake, and come
Fantastic recall
House-trained and crate-trained
Working on leash manners, especially around other dogs
What Scooby Loves:
Cuddles and kisses
Quiet, private moments with his people
Playing safely with a trusted dog friend
The Right Home:
Scooby needs a calm, patient family who can give him time to build confidence and trust. He’s looking for someone to be his “Shaggy”—his forever best friend who’ll show him he’ll never be abandoned again.
