Thank you, Scott Boling with Coldwell Banker, for sponsoring my care! My adoption fee is just $25!
Risen: The Courageous Heart 🐾 Meet Risen, a magnificent 7-year-old German Shepherd who embodies the word 'resilience.' Brought to the shelter in rough shape, Risen has faced serious health challenges, including emaciation, a heart murmur, and a diagnosis of long-term heartworm disease. But with veterinary care, supportive feeding, and lots of love, he is already feeling better and fighting hard!
Risen is currently a Heartworm Warrior and has begun his intensive, three-month-long treatment. To give him the best chance at a full recovery, he desperately needs a hero-a special foster or foster-to-adopt home that can offer a calm, low-energy environment for his treatment period.
He may need quiet rest now, but we are hopeful he will survive this treatment and live his best life soon! Even a short time with Risen will leave a powerful, long-lasting impact on your heart. Can you provide the quiet space and tender care Risen needs to win this battle?
Risen is seeking a Foster-to-Adopt or Slumber Party Foster home IMMEDIATELY to complete his treatment! Primary Color: Black And Tan Weight: 85 Age: 7yrs 1mths 3wks
