My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🎄 Meet Penelope! 🎄

Penelope is a tiny 2.8 pound bundle of joy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This happy, playful little girl is full of wiggles, kisses, and holiday cheer. She loves making new friends and does great with other dogs and kids—everyone is a potential bestie in her eyes.

Penelope is still learning the ropes of being a proper pup and is working hard on all the puppy basics, including house training. With her sweet nature and eager-to-please attitude, she’s sure to blossom with a little guidance and lots of love.

If you’re looking for a cheerful companion to make every day feel a little more magical (and a lot more fun), Penelope is ready to jingle her way right into your heart ❤️🐾🎁

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
