Dakiti and her family (Bunny, Choli, Benito, Titi, and Mia) were rescued together from Puerto Rico’s El Yunque Rainforest. While out on a hike, their mama Bunny was spotted on the side of the road and, after some time, led the way to her kittens hidden among the trees, rain, and earth. Dakiti and her family made the journey home with us from Puerto Rico and are now affectionately known as our Bad Bunny, or El Yunque, babies.
Dakiti is one half of a closely bonded pair with her sister Titi. The two are often mistaken for twins. Both girls are all white, with only slight tabby markings on the tops of their heads that make them just distinguishable from one another. Like the rest of the litter, Dakiti has big ears and large, expressive eyes that perfectly capture her playful, affectionate nature.
Dakiti is a lively, playful girl with plenty of zoomies to match her sister’s energy. She loves to run, chase, and explore, especially alongside Titi. Dakiti also enjoys being up high and will happily make her way to the top of the curtain rod to sit and watch the world go by with her sister, taking everything in from above.
When playtime winds down, Dakiti is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. She enjoys curling up right on top of you, sharing warmth and comfort like a little hot water bottle with whiskers. She is very friendly, not shy at all, and seeks out attention and affection whenever it’s available.
Dakiti must be adopted with her sister Titi. Both, named after Bad Bunny songs, are deeply bonded.
Dakiti does well with other cats, is great with children, and would likely be comfortable with a calm, cat-friendly dog given a proper introduction. She is spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative.
If you are looking for a playful, affectionate bonded pair with big personalities, a love of heights, and even bigger hearts, Dakiti and Titi together may be the perfect addition to your family.

More about this rescue
King’s Pride Kitten Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) organization located in central New Jersey. We are a small volunteer and foster-based rescue/ adoption service focused on rescuing, caring for, and adopting out orphaned kittens that might otherwise be euthanized, or die of illness on the street.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as shelters closed and rescues were overwhelmed, we realized there was a profound and urgent need for rescues, fosters, and adoption services. Without our help, many kittens would be left homeless, living on the streets and, ultimately, adding to the feral population. We love what we are doing and hope to continue saving these tiny felines way after the pandemic is under control and shelters start opening their doors again. We function solely on donations from people like you, and we are working hard to save as many little lives as we can by getting our kittens adopted into loving forever homes.
