My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rippy!

Rippy is a smart, affectionate boy who has come a long way since arriving in foster care. He was very anxious at first, but he’s learned his routines and now settles nicely at night, often sleeping calmly on the couch with his people. He loves being close and has zero sense of personal space—lap time, couch cuddles, and belly rubs are his favorite things.

Rippy enjoys fetch, zoomies, and entertaining himself with toys. He plays well with larger dogs who match his energetic style but can be overwhelming for calmer dogs; slow introductions are a must, and his compatibility with small dogs is unknown. He is not cat-friendly.

He’s treat-motivated and eager to learn, already knowing “sit” and “easy,” and working on leash skills and manners. Rippy is strong, pulls on leash, jumps when excited, and has typical puppy behaviors, so he’ll need continued training, structure, and supervision. He’s protective of his people, does well in the car, and handled his vet visit like a champ.

Rippy would thrive in a patient, committed home ready to continue his training and give him the love and guidance he needs. With the right family, this loyal, loving boy has amazing potential.

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
