My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Moses! Moses is a 4½-year-old Goldendoodle who’s equal parts fun and heart. He came to us as an owner surrender and is now ready to find his perfect match.

Moses warms up quickly to new people and loves to show off his playful side—especially when toys are involved. He enjoys walks, handles Cleveland weather like a champ, and is always up for physical activities. To keep him feeling and looking his best, Moses will need regular professional grooming—spa days are a must for this handsome doodle.

Moses would do best in an adult-only home or with respectful teen children, as the hustle and bustle of little kids can make him nervous. He’s dog-friendly, has been crate-trained, and has never been exposed to cats. Moses does guard his food and treats, so supervision and honoring his boundaries are important.

Moses is available through our foster-to-adopt program, meaning you can welcome him into your home while he completes his routine vetting, including vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing. If you’d like to meet Moses, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and submit a dog adoption application online. Moses`s adoption fee is $160.
If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion with great hair and an even better heart, Moses may be your guy! ????

Additional adoption info

At Parma Animal Shelter, we do not adopt our animals out as gifts or surprises. We believe that adopting a pet is a significant commitment and should be a well-considered decision. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse any adoption to ensure the best match for both the animal and the adopter.

All of our animals are microchipped, tested for disease, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and internal parasites, and given lots of loving care during their stay with us. We are dedicated to meeting their medical needs and do our best to socialize them.

If you have questions about any of our cats, please feel free to email us at catadoptions@parmashelter.org. Our volunteers are more than happy to provide information about their personalities and any recommendations for the best home environment possible for each individual animal.

To start the adoption process, you can submit an application by visiting our website parmashelter.org. For cats, please use the following link: https://form.jotform.com/223634976258165. For dogs, questions can be directed to dogadoptions@parmashelter.org, and applications can be submitted here: https://form.jotform.com/230706749163055.

As we get to know our animals better, we will post updates on their behavior in the shelter to assist you in making an informed decision.

Thank you once again for your interest in our dogs and cats. We look forward to helping you find the perfect companion.

More about this shelter

Parma Animal Shelter is a dedicated 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to finding permanent homes for stray animals in our community.

As a small, no time-limits shelter, we are proud to operate entirely through the efforts of our passionate volunteers. We do not receive any public funding, which makes the support of our community all the more vital in helping us provide loving care to the animals we shelter.

Throughout the year, we organize various fundraisers to support our mission, and we maintain a wish list of needed items on our website. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our loyal supporters, whose contributions make a significant impact in the lives of so many animals.

If you have any inquiries or would like to learn more about adopting a dog or a cat, please feel free to reach out to us at dogadoptions@parmashelter.org or catadoptions@parmashelter.org.
