Meet Dot, a 1.5 year old, 46 lb Beagle/Boxer mix. (Breed mix is just a best guess). This brave young dog was found living in the woods with her nine puppies! Can you imagine how scared she must have been? Having all those puppies on her own, and then caring for and protecting them! Dot is now in a loving foster home, and most of her puppies have been adopted. She is very cautious and shy at first, and it's easy to understand why. She's blossomed at her foster home and is learning how to be a beloved family pet. She is now free to play like the young dog she is, without the responsibililty of all her pups. Dot needs a fairly quiet home with people who are willing to be patient and let her settle in at her own pace.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
