My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Quigley 🐾💙
The scruffiest wiggle butt in town!

Quigley is an extra-scruffy, extra-cute wiggle butt who’s looking for a forever home—and another dog in the home is a must for this sweet boy. Coming from a hoarding case, Quigley finds comfort and confidence in having a canine buddy by his side. He would love to go home with one of his brothers or sisters, or join a home that already has a friendly dog.

Quigley is shy at first, but once he knows he’s safe, his gentle and affectionate personality shines. He’s also very food motivated, so treats are a great way to earn his trust (and his heart).

With patience, love, and a dog friend to help him feel secure, Quigley will make a wonderful companion. If you have a pup who needs a buddy and a heart big enough for a shy sweetheart, Quigley might be your perfect match 🐶✨

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
