My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Veda

Veda is a very sweet girl who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She came from a neglect situation, so new environments and new animals can feel a little overwhelming at first—but once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality really shines.

Veda would do best with a calmer dog companion and slow, thoughtful introductions. During dog testing she seemed scared rather than reactive, and she was also a bit unsure around cats, so a home without cats or with very patient management would be ideal. People, however, are her favorite—especially when treats are involved!

She does well on a leash, enjoys quiet walks, and isn’t particularly interested in toys, preferring snacks and affection instead. Veda is looking for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her blossom at her own pace.

✨ Veda is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

If you’re looking for a gentle soul to love and spoil with treats, Veda may be your perfect match.

Additional adoption info

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.
