My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna!

Luna is a very sweet girl with a heart full of love and just the right amount of energy to keep life fun! She came from a neglect situation, but you’d never know it by the way she lights up when she’s around people. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her bright new chapter with a family of her own.

Luna is doing great on a leash and enjoys getting out for walks. She’s also doing well with going potty outside as long as she’s taken out promptly — she just needs a little consistency to keep shining! She doesn’t really know what toys are yet, so watching her discover how to “be a dog” is going to be such a special experience for her future family.

She likes treats (great for training!), is fine with other dogs, and did okay with cats. Luna would do best in a home with kids 10 and up. While she’s affectionate, she doesn’t care for being picked up, and she appreciates having her boundaries respected.

Luna is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and has had a hernia repair. She’s healthy, hopeful, and so ready for a second chance.

Additional adoption info

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family.
