Hi my name is Holly! I'm about 5 years old and about 75lbs.
The rescues thinks the first part of my life was probably pretty rough, but I am so very sweet and just want to be loved.
I waited and waited in a small rural shelter for months and months to find a new family. Finally the day came and I got to go home, but my happiness ended only days after when I was returned to the shelter due to not being allowed in my new family's apartment.
Luckily the day I was returned the rescue took me in as the shelter no longer had room for me.
Now I've been at the rescue since December 2023.
I’m a playful girl who loves toys and absolutely adores people—especially kids!
I’ve spent time with kids ages 10+ at the rescue and do great with all of them.
I’m all about love and snuggles. The first thing I do when I meet someone new? Flop right onto my back for belly rubs—it's my favorite!
I can get a little barky at the fence because I like to protect my space, but out on short-walks, I do great and have met calm, friendly dogs just fine after proper introductions.
After all this time at the rescue, my rescue mom knows me really well and says I'd do great with another friendly, laid-back dog.
She also says that dominant dogs are not for me, and I really don't seem to tolerate the dominant dogs. Friendly dogs only, please!
I’m just looking for a family who loves cuddles, playtime, and has room in their hearts (and on their couch) for me!
I do need a home without cats, though.
I was born with a missing ligament in my shoulder. This doesn't impact me too much except when I go for walks that are too long. I would do great living with a family who has a back yard for me to get most of my daily exercise in.
If you are interested in meeting me please fill out an adoption application at cbmrescue.org.
