My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gilmore is a handsome black and white domestic medium hair with a soft, fluffy coat and a calm, charming presence. With his classic coloring and plush fur, he looks like he stepped straight out of a cozy storybook.

This sweet boy has an easygoing nature and enjoys spending time with people, whether that means lounging nearby, accepting gentle affection, or simply keeping you company as you go about your day. Gilmore settles in nicely and brings a comforting, steady energy to the home.

With his good looks, soft coat, and kind personality, Gilmore is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someone’s loyal companion. If you’re looking for a friendly, relaxed cat with timeless black and white charm, Gilmore may be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
