Ava was rescued just in the nick of time on a freezing cold day. She was found huddled behind a garage, ice clinging to her coat and her gums turning pale. Thanks to caring people who refused to look away, Ava was brought in from the cold, gently warmed, checked over, and welcomed safely into our HumaneCNY shelter.
Ava is young -- around a year old or possible even slightly younger (as of December 2025). She has a beautiful cream-colored coat that's silky soft and wavy, and the sweetest barely-there freckles on her nose that make you look twice.
Right now, Ava is still building confidence, but her potential shines through. She loves people, melts into affection, and is very treat motivated, making her a great candidate for positive, reward-based training. She's easily guided, eager to please, and just wants reassurance that she's doing things right.
