Introducing Stanley -- the goofy, big-hearted cattle dog who just wants someone to notice him!
Stanley is our resident 5-year-old cattle dog with a silly personality and a big heart. This playful boy is toy-obsessed -- he loves carrying one around like a prized possession -- and he'll happily trade a game of fetch for a snack (or two...or three).
He loves his walks and approaches exploring with great enthusiasm...just at a pace that leaves plenty of time for sniffing and maybe even a snack break. With people he trusts, Stanley's goofy, affectionate side shines brightly.
But here's the part that breaks our hearts:
Stanley is still here, and he wants YOU to notice him.
He's confused, stressed, and trying so hard, but shelter life is wearing him down more each day. Stanley wasn't built for concrete floors, echoing hallways, or watching volunteers walk other dogs past his kennel. He was built for open spaces, wind in his coat, and paws hitting dirt instead of tile. Instead...he waits. And with little to no interest, the waiting is getting harder.
Stanley is a loyal, one-person kind of guy. He needs: -A home with no other animals; -Room to run and decompress; -Someone who understands his breed; -A patient adopter or foster who can give him space, guidance, and the chance he's been longing for.
He doesn't want perfection -- just a person. Someone to see past the kennel stress and recognize the fun, silly, devoted companion he is outside these walls.
Right now, his world is a kennel. But it doesn't have to be.
If you're looking for a best friend who's equal parts silly sidekick and loyal companion, Stanley's your guy! Come meet him...you just might be his person.
