My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Suzanne, a pint-sized brown-and-white Jack Russell Terrier–Beagle mix with a warm, gentle spirit. At just 20 pounds and around a year old, she’s the perfect blend of youthful energy and sweet affection. Suzanne is coming to us from Kentucky, where she was found as a stray, but you’d never know it from how loving and eager to bond she is.

She’s up to date on her vaccines and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. Her foster family says she’s doing great with potty training, walks beautifully on a leash, and settles nicely in her crate. Best of all, Suzanne loves nothing more than curling up on the couch, snuggling in, and watching TV, truly the ideal winter companion!

If you’re looking for a cuddly, happy little buddy to brighten your home, Suzanne might be the one. Apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application from your laptop or computer. This sweet girl is so ready to meet you!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
