My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boreal! ❄️🐺
Boreal is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Husky / White German Shepherd mix weighing around 50 lbs. She’s the total package—sweet, social, and well-mannered!

Boreal does great with other dogs, kids, and even cats, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. She is crate trained and house trained, so she already has a great foundation and is ready to settle right in.

She is:
✨ Spayed
✨ Up to date on vaccinations
✨ Flea & tick treated
✨ Microchipped
✨ Heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention
✨ Lyme positive but currently being treated (not contagious)

Boreal is a loving, intelligent girl looking for a family to call her own. If you’re searching for a friendly, well-rounded companion, Boreal may be your perfect match! 🐶💕

Boreal's adoption fee is $225. You can apply on our website www.highlandhumanesociety.org OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.

Worried about whether she will be a good fit for your home? No worries, we have that covered too! You have up to 2 weeks after adoption to return her for a full refund on your adoption fee.
