Cosmo Simone is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu weighing 18 pounds of pure sweetness. He came to Camo Rescue when his original owner could no longer care for him. While he was clearly loved, Cosmo is now ready to find his new forever home where he can continue to shine.
Since arriving at the rescue, Cosmo Simone has been an absolute angel—showering staff and volunteers with nothing but love. He’s doing fantastic with his potty training and almost never has accidents in his kennel. His leash manners are coming along beautifully too, making walks a joy.
Cosmo would do well as the only dog in the home, or with another calm, easygoing dog who doesn’t mind his presence. He does have a touch of a dominant personality, but he responds well to correction and quickly gives other dogs their space.
Cosmo Simone would be happy in a home with human siblings or in an adults-only household. With his loving nature and good manners, he’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and a whole lot of cuddles to his forever family.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership.
