Hi. I`m Jasmine. I was rescued with my siblings, Jasper and Jewell, by a nice woman doing TNR work in Van Nuys. I am shy at first so need some patience and a safe space to acclimate. I get along with other kitties and am desperate to have a kitty friend. While I do love head, neck and chin scritches, I have a fear of being scruffed so if you are scratching my head and I sense you might be trying to scruff me, I`ll flinch. I love belly rubs once I trust you. I enjoy all manner of ball toys (fluffy or not). My perfect home is one that can give me plenty of time and space to acclimate. You`ll be rewarded with me showing you my belly for a good rubbing session.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
