Fizz is a handsome grey-and-white tuxedo gentleman who’s fully prepared to ring in the New Year in a brand-new home—preferably yours. Just like his name, he brings the sparkle, the energy, and the good vibes wherever he goes.

This charming guy is equal parts suave and silly. He’ll strut around like he’s dressed for a party, then immediately do something ridiculous to make you laugh. Fizz believes every day deserves a little celebration, a lot of attention, and at least one good nap in a cozy spot.

If your New Year’s resolution includes more laughs, more love, and a cat who keeps life bubbly, Fizz is ready to move in and make 2025 his year 🎉🐾

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
