My Social Life Other cats ? I enjoy playing with other kitties and really prefer having friends around. Dogs ? They make me a little cautious because of their size, but I’m curious and open to slow, respectful introductions. Kids ? I love mini humans — just know that my play style can be a bit rough-and-tumble, so gentle guidance helps. I can entertain myself when needed, but I’m happiest when I have companions to share the fun.

I Enjoy… Quality time with my humans, including short cuddle sessions and good rubs Interactive play is my love language — wand toys and bell toys are absolute favorites Climbing, jumping, and conquering every surface (play fences are merely suggestions) Exploring my environment from top to bottom with confidence
I’m Not a Fan Of… Barriers that limit my adventures — fences and barricades won’t stop me for long! I’m also very serious about having a full food and water bowl at all times.
What Makes Me Special My beautiful gray coat with brown streaks pairs perfectly with my powerful legs — I can jump impressively high and land like a pro.
My Perfect Home I’d thrive in an active home with another playful companion and plenty of toys to keep my curious mind busy. Daily interactive playtime with wands or toys is a must. I may hide briefly when I’m nervous, but with a little food, patience, and play, I warm up quickly and dive right back into the action.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
