My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bean Sprouts! 🌼 This adorable 3-year-old, 13-pound Shih Tzu is as sweet as she looks. She came in scruffy and unsure, but after her spa day she’s blossomed into the happiest little girl! Bean Sprouts loves attention, melts for cuddles, and is so gentle with everyone she meets. She does great with other dogs and loves being part of the pack. She’s the perfect mix of calm and cheerful and would make an amazing companion in a loving home.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
