My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winky: Winky is a lovable 11-year-old Shih Tzu rescued from Oklahoma, ready to find a forever home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort and love. Though Winky is blind, he confidently navigates his surroundings with curiosity and grace, relying on his strong senses of smell and hearing. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him an ideal companion for a calm and patient household. With a moderate energy level, Winky enjoys short walks, exploring familiar spaces, and engaging in gentle play. He is good with other dogs, enjoys being near people, and absolutely loves to cuddle—he thrives on attention and affection from his family. Winky would be a perfect fit for seniors or anyone seeking a calm, devoted companion. He is comfortable in apartments or condos, adapting well to smaller spaces as long as he has a consistent routine and loving environment. Winky’s sweet personality, resilience, and loyalty make him a wonderful dog who just wants to spend his days giving and receiving love.
