My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This dog is scheduled to arrive in Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, January 17*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website.

Kobe has so many wonderful qualities and he is just as adorable as he sounds! This tiny 7lb Yorkie/Terrier mix has an incredibly affectionate personality and thrives on connection and loyalty. Hes the perfect companion for someone looking for a true cuddler and devoted dog.

Kobe is very people-focused and attentive. He walks well on leash, comes when called, and knows his name well. He loves being held and cuddled, enjoys plenty of attention, and happily gives hugs and kisses in return. His joyful presence truly lights up a room. When he runs, his little legs fly through the air like a tiny Superman and its impossible not to smile. Once Kobe bonds with his person, he becomes a lifelong friend and companion.

Cozy comforts are a must for him fluffy blankets and toys are among his favorites.

He is potty-pad trained and will need to be kept on a consistent outdoor potty schedule. When he needs to go, he will bark persistently to let you know.

Kobe would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a space thats just for him. He loves his crate filled with blankets and toys, but prefers the door left open so he can come and go as he pleases. A loving home that values closeness, routine, and lots of affection would be perfect for this happy little guy.

Additional adoption info

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue is looking for committed adopters, ready to bring a rescue dog into their life. In order to ensure that we find the best homes for our dogs, adoption applicants must go through an adoption approval process. We receive a number of applications for each dog and only one will be chosen as the successful candidate. Candidates are selected based on the dog's needs. Not being selected for the dog that you applied for does not disqualify you from adopting from us in the future.

Go meet their pets

We do our very best to place our dogs into adoptive homes before they arrive into Canada. This ensures that they have a safe and loving place to go after their long journey up North. All dogs adopted through R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue will receive a 15 day adoption probation period. This period starts the day the dog enters the care of the adopter. This means that the adoptive family has 15 days to determine that dog is a good fit for them. Although it may feel scary to not meet the dog before adopting, the 15 day period allows you to get to know the dog within your home. If you buy a dog off of Kijiji or at a local shelter you may be given a couple hours to meet the dog. We believe that our program's 15 day probation provides much more insight into how he or she will fit into your home, rather than. a brief meet and greet.
