My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Lyla was adopted as a kitten name Kyra. She was taken in with her mom, Shananigans when she was only days old. The adopters fell on some financial hardship and, per our adoption agreement, Lyla came back to us. She healthy and ready for a new home. She has always been with other cats, but she would probably like to be around less or none at all. She has not yet been exposed to dogs. We'd love to see this girl now get the forever home she deserves.

All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Please fill in our application via this link: http://www.felinematchmakers.org

We only adopt kittens and young cats out within a one hour radius of Wilmington, NC to those over 21 years old. Occasionally we make exceptions for adult cats, but we are not a transport company.

More about this rescue

Faith McNitt started Feline Matchmakers in January of 2020. We are a small organization that focuses on owner surrenders. The larger organizations focus on shelter pulls, so we feel this is the most needed service in Wilmington, NC. We also work TNR cases in small numbers. We are looking for fosters to build our organization. All fosters work on a charity basis, as we do not yet have the funding to pay for anything other than medical expenses. If interested in joining us to save cats from being euthenized or put in shelters, please contact us.
