Say Hi to Finn! This super cute, scruffy boy is just shy of a year. He appears to be a Wolfhound/Lab mix. He is curious yet timid. He has a very submissive personality and will be a quick learner with some formal training. He already responds well to his name and comes when you call him.
He is crate trained, actually sees it as his safe place and goes freely into it. He is doing amazingly well with house training. He is other dog friendly as he gets along fantastically with both his big and small foster brothers and sisters. He also does well with smaller children. His happy place is with others. He is definitely not meant to be a loner. He is destined for love, companionship, and greatness as he continues to grow and learn. He is currently working on sit when he takes treats. His bottom is getting closer and closer to the ground each time!
He has been in his foster home for 3 weeks now and is really adjusting well. Finn is a medium sized boy weighing in at just over 40lbs but will likely add a few pounds over time. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, rabies, microchipped and heart worm negative. If you are looking for some young love in your life then submit your application today! Additional adoption info
We look to match the dogs personality, energy, and size to the potential adoptive family lifestyle and dynamics. A family looking for a calm snuggle buddy is not a good match for a working dog that needs to be walked several miles a day to be content and successful in the home.
