Mocha's Story
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.
Mocha and siblings are amazing, outgoing puppies estimated to be about 3.5 months old and expected to be about 50 pounds when grown. Playful, affectionate, doing great already with housebreaking with lots of trips outside, they will make wonderful family dogs.
From the foster, Mocha is a sweet lab mix who enjoys the company of other dogs, humans, kids and even cats. She loves to be held and play with squeaky toys. Although only about 3 months old, she stays clean at night and is well on her way for potty training. She is very attentive, eager to please and loves to cuddle.
The adoption fee is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior by the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is between 7-9 months

We bring dogs to us from rural areas where there is a large stray population, spays are infrequently done and pounds and shelters are high kill when they fill up. Adoption rates are high in our area.
