Mister is a happy go lucky guy who loves to play with toys, other dogs, or his people! He is very friendly once he's comfortable, but is a bit cautious when meeting new people at first. He has some feelings about his food bowl being touched while he's trying to eat, so making sure he has space to finish up his meal will help him feel safe and comfortable; with this in mind, it's important that any kids in the home can be respectful of his boundaries! Mister Man loves to toss his toys around as he prances in the yard. He isn't very vocal, but will let squirrels know that he spots them, and will join in if other dogs sound the alarm.
Mister French is a very good boy who is excited to settle into his new Minnesotan life. If he sounds like your man, please meet this handsome guy and see if it's a match!
MisterFrench is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 1/10 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8am-Noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.

Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
