This adorable cat carries himself with a truly royal posture and natural elegance. He is kind, confident, and in excellent health, with a calm strength that makes him a wonderful companion.

Despite Benny's regal presence, he has a very affectionate side and loves cuddles and gentle attention. His foster's two daughters absolutely love him, and his playful yet balanced personality makes him a joy to be around. He sleeps well through the night and has an independent nature, but still seeks out company and enjoys sharing quiet moments with his humans. He adores his sibling and needs to be adopted with his sibling or as a buddy.

Benny would be a perfect fit for someone looking for a cat who combines independence, affection, and grace in one beautiful companion.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
