Meet Buddy he is a playful, seven-month-old, thirteen-pound Chihuahua/Jack Russel mix. He is learning to use the doggy door to go outside to do his business and he sleeps in his X-pen in a doggy bed at night. He gets along great with other dogs. He was left alone a lot, so he loves attention. We are looking someone who is patient that works from home or is an active senior adopter who can take him for walks and work with him on his behavior and potty training. He is a smart boy and with consistency and lots of love will be a great dog. No kids under 8 because he is a little jumpy and still just a little mouthy. This breed mix needs a lot of exercise and play time so experience would be helpful. Buddy is being fostered in Oakdale. His adoption fee is $350 which includes Neuter, Microchip, Rabies, and he is up-to-date on his vaccines.

Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.
When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
