Snickerdoodle was born on August 9, 2025. He is a Doxy mix who was adopted by an 80-year-old woman that had never had a dog before. Through no fault of his own he was given to us to find a new forever home. Snickerdoodle loves to play with his toys and would be happy as the only dog or as a companion for another dog. He does like to be the dominant dog of the bunch. Snickerdoodle loves to take a nap on your lap and get lots of pets, and he sleeps in his crate at night. He is used to using wee wee pads to go potty and is starting to go outside to do his business. Snickerdoodle would do best with children over the age of eight only because he can be a little bit mouthy while playing. He just needs consistency with training to teach him how to have a soft mouth and to work on basic commands. He would make a wonderful companion to anyone’s family. Snickerdoodle is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.

Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.
When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
