What we know: Local owner surrender of two dogs, 1M 1F. Owners could no longer care for them. Came with the name Goliath but does not seem to answer to it. Aged about 11 months old. Reportedly good with cats, dogs, and kids.
From the foster: This sweet 11-month-old, 29-lb pup has the soul of a little old man tucked inside a young dog’s body. With his thoughtful eyes and gentle demeanor, he’s the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart.
He can be a bit timid around men at first, but once he feels safe, he bonds deeply and tends to choose his person. He loves being near his human and is happiest curling up beside them for a cozy nap. He’s a low-energy guy — happy to go on walks and explore, but just as content to relax at home.
He does great on a leash and hasn’t had any accidents in the house. While he doesn’t know formal commands yet, he’s incredibly smart and eager to learn — he’ll pick things up quickly with gentle guidance. He especially loves hard and teething toys and will happily entertain himself chewing away.
He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making him an easy fit for a multi-pet home. With patience, consistency, and love, he’s going to make an incredibly loyal companion.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
