What we know: Local owner surrender of two dogs, 1M 1F. Owners could no longer care for them. Came with the name Nuca but does not seem to answer to it. Aged about 11 months old. Reportedly good with cats, dogs, and kids.
From the foster: Nuca is a sweet little soul who loves to be by your side. She is curious, and loves to play and snuggle. She will climb on your lap if you let her. She likes attention, but is also fairly content and relaxed while you do your thing. She's good on walks and doesn't seem to pay much attention to other dogs. She is smart and understands the word "no", however, she still needs to learn some basic commands like sit. Nuca is potty trained, and I think she will make a great and loyal friend.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
