My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ChaCha was also found wandering around as a stray. We are not sure who is dumping chihuahuas but this is the 3rd known about chihuahua in the last week. His 5 day stray hold is over so now he will be looking for a new home. ChaCha is scheduled for a neuter before adoption. He is a loveable little guy and enjoys playing with toys. He is learning how to walk on a leash better. Housetrained and pad trained. He is around 8 years old.

Our hours are Monday-Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 12-3, Thursday and Sunday Closed.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
