My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tildy, a 1-year-old female Cattle Dog/Terrier mix with a big heart in a tiny 20-lb body. She’s young, sweet, and incredibly resilient—but she urgently needs a foster home to recover safely.

Tildy was transferred to care after being surrendered with a severely necrotic right hind leg. On 1/2/26, she underwent a right rear leg amputation, and the surgery went well. The source of her pain is gone, and she is now on the path to healing. Her previous non-ambulatory status and degloving injury are resolved.

Tildy is underweight and healing from major surgery. While she can stay in a kennel, a foster home would dramatically improve her comfort, healing, and weight gain. She is small, manageable, and would thrive in a calm home where she can rest, eat well, and learn how strong she really is.

Tildy has already been through more than most dogs experience in a lifetime—and she’s only one year old. What she needs now is a soft bed, good food, and a safe place to heal.
