Thalia is a 7-month-old beagle/lab mix with a gentle soul and a resilient start to life. She was rescued from life on the streets in Puerto Rico along with her mom and brother after her brother was hit and injured by a car. Despite that rough beginning, Thalia has blossomed into an incredibly friendly, loving young dog who clearly believes the world is a good place.
At about 28 pounds, she’s a great medium size—big enough for adventures, small enough for couch time. Thalia is social, sweet, and eager to connect with people, greeting everyone as if they’re an old friend. She carries no bitterness from her past, just curiosity and affection.
Thalia would thrive in a home ready to guide a young dog through her puppy-to-adult transition with patience, kindness, and plenty of love. She’s the kind of dog who makes you feel lucky to be chosen.
Thalia will arrive in Albion, NY on mid January and we would love to have a family waiting for her!
Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. There is an application which is required for initial approval, with personal references, and vet references. We may require a home visit, each adoption is different. We are easy to work with, friendly and try to fit the right pet in the right situation!
