This helps Little Orphan's Animal Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Toby came in with his two siblings; Percy and Tilley. These three were found by someone working at a property and could not leave them there in the condition they were in. It was very clear to her they needed medical care ASAP! She received permission from property owner to take them, and took them immediately to a vet, and they provided our contact information as a possible resource to help them find homes once they were healthy. These three tiny SICK kittens came to our shelter and have since made themselves right at home. Even the first few nights with us, and even though they were very sick, they played together and ate like maniacs as if nothing was wrong. They are all a joy! Affectionate, playful, and absolutely perfect.
Toby was the "less sick" of the group. His siblings had infections that also included their eyes as well, with both of them having one eye damaged from their illness by the time they were brought into our care. Toby really only has an upper respiratory infection which has since resolved and he is now a very healthy boy. He is scheduled to be neutered January 2026 but an approved application will move him up to the next available January date. He will be ready to go home a day or two after his vetting is complete.
*****IMPORTANT****** We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion. Young kittens will NOT be approved for homes where they will not have another similar aged (kitten= under 1 year of age) companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
