My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Rembrandt, AKA Remy

Remy is a medium-to-large sweetheart with a thoughtful soul and a quietly charming personality. True to his artistic name, he likes to take a moment to observe the world before jumping in—but once he decides you’re his person, his loyalty is unmatched.

He’s the perfect blend of calm companion and gentle goof. Remy enjoys being near his people, whether that means relaxing on the couch, supervising daily activities, or quietly following you from room to room. He doesn’t need to be the center of attention—he’s just happy to be included.

The best thing about Remy?
His heart. He loves deeply and sincerely, forming strong bonds with his humans and offering steady, comforting companionship.

What will his forever family love most?
His easygoing nature and how naturally he settles into home life. He brings a peaceful presence and shows his affection in meaningful, low-key ways.

The not-so-perfect (but important) part:
Remy can be a bit stubborn and prefers to do things on his timeline. New people, places, or changes may earn a pause and a thoughtful stare before he’s ready to engage. He’s not a “dive right in” kind of guy—but patience and gentle encouragement go a long way.

Good to know:
Remy will thrive in a calm, consistent home that appreciates a dog who warms up at his own pace. With time, structure, and love, he becomes an incredibly devoted best friend who only gets better the more you know him.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul and a touch of artistic flair, Rembrandt might just be your masterpiece.
