✨River — The Gentle Giant With a Heart of Gold ✨
River first came to me as a tiny kitten in 2022, born around May 16th, and was adopted by a wonderful woman who adored him completely. Their bond was something special. In October 2025, River returned to us after his adopter passed away, and while his story took an unexpected turn, this sweet boy is ready to open his heart again.
And trust us… whoever gets him next is getting a treasure.
River was born without a tail!
🌊 River’s Vibe: Calm, Kind, and Completely Unbothered
River is a big, handsome boy—big enough that other cats sometimes need a minute to realize he’s actually a marshmallow. He has never hissed, growled, or shown an ounce of attitude. He’s the definition of chill.
His favorite things in life are:
- Your attention
- A sunny window to watch the world
- Any flat surface he can sprawl across like the king he is (desks, dressers, nightstands… he does not discriminate)
🐾 Great With Cats, Kids, and… Maybe Dogs?
- Cats: River LOVES other cats. He’s respectful, gentle, and social. His size might make them pause at first, but he wins them over quickly.
- Kids: He’s been a total sweetheart at events—patient, friendly, and happy to soak up the love.
- Dogs: He hasn’t had one‑on‑one dog exposure, but he hasn’t shown any negative reactions from a distance. We just don’t have enough info to say for sure how he’d do in a dog home.
💙 Ready for His Next Forever
River has known love, and he deserves to feel that again. He’s the kind of cat who fills a home with quiet companionship, soft presence, and those big, soulful eyes that make you feel chosen.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, low‑drama companion who just wants to be near you and enjoy the simple joys of life, River is your boy.
Adoption fee: $125
