Patchouli is a beautiful tuxedo tortie girl who has really learned that she loves pets and attention. She is a very athletic leaper for wand toys and enjoys fake mice, tinsel balls, and climbing her scratching post and hanging out on the top level of her condo. She feels very confident when she is up high. She does well with other cats. Patchouli had a very rough start to life as a neglected community kitten, so although she very clearly loves people and attention, she will need time and patience to gain trust and confidence with her new family. Slow introductions and a quiet home would be best for her. She has come a long way from being a terrified, hiding, tiny baby, and with the right home she will continue to bloom.

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.
Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
