Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barry is a calm, well behaved little love bug.
He would be great with a dog who needs a buddy.
Loves, loves, loves to have his chest rubbed..will fall asleep.
Foster mom guesses he is a Welsh Corgi and wired hair terrier mix...with beautiful hazel eyes.
Double coated and completely non-shedding.
Housebroken and doggie door trained.
He was part of a hoarding rescue, and obviously didn’t know what a dog toy was. He does now, and he is a happy little guy wagging his tail with his little stuffed toy and ball.
His personality is a perfect combination of calm and playful and loving.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
