Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I’m Dingo! I’m a big lovable boy with a huge heart and a serious appreciation for snuggles, playtime, and being right by my people’s side.
I’ve been doing great in my foster home, and everyone keeps telling me what a gem I am. I’m fully house trained with a perfect record so far, no accidents here, and I’m a quick learner who enjoys picking up new tricks and commands. I’m the perfect mix of playful pup and professional nap partner.
The couch is my favorite place in the house, but I’m also happy lying quietly nearby while you cook, clean, or work. I just like knowing my people are close. I may whine a little if I can’t see you, but I settle down quickly and continue to make great progress.
I love car rides, especially sticking my head out the window and checking out the world. Tug is one of my favorite games, and I also love squeaky toys and rope toys. I’m sweet, affectionate, and not aggressive at all. I do well with other dogs and cats, though my playful energy can be a bit much for senior cats, and I’d do best in a home with kids over 5.
If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a couch cuddler, and an all around good boy who just wants to be loved, I might be your perfect match!
Love,
Dingo

More about this shelter
We are a small shelter that rescues pets from local impounds whose time is up, and would otherwise be euthanized. We only have 9 dog kennels and 26 cat kennels; as many of 80% of the animals in our care are located in foster homes throughout the community at any time. We are very limited on space within our shelter and often, we can't take in owner surrenders, but will do our best to help give guidance about rehoming pets.
We offer several services besides adoption, including microchip clinics and pet-friendly rental housing listings.
We are the only shelter in the FM area that rescues both cats and dogs, so without our help, hundreds of dogs and cats would be euthanized each year in local pounds.
