Caramel is a beautiful bulldog mix with soulful eyes and a gentle, tender heart. Chosen during Wags 2 Wishes’ Christmas Eve Pull, she was one of the shelter’s long-term residents—an underdog who quietly waited for her chance.
When Caramel finally got her meet, she showed exactly who she is: shy and submissive at first, but incredibly sweet. She offers gentle kisses, happily exposes her belly for rubs, and leans into affection once she feels safe.
Caramel may have been a momma in her past, but now she’s ready to be someone’s beloved companion. She would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence and enjoy the life she’s always deserved.

Meet the Pet

Schedule a meet and greet with the adoptive dog and your family at our rescue center in Plainfield.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If all approve, sign contracts and pay adoption fee Adoption Fees are: $200.00-$500.00 (subject to change without notice)

Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue's mission is to rescue abused, abandoned and forgotten animals in Illinois and surrounding states that are facing euthanasia and provide a loving and secure atmosphere for the animals transition in our foster home based program. The animals are given time to transition from lives of hardship and become cherished members of their foster family and eventually their forever home.
