QUICK FACTS
Name: Khaki
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female (Spayed)
Breed: Mini Jindo Mix
Color: Brown
Weight: 9kg / 20lbs
Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed
MY RESCUE STORY
I was rescued in Korea and have since gained valuable foster home experience, where I learned what it means to live comfortably in a family environment. I’m now ready to continue my journey and find a loving home of my own!
MY HEALTH
• Fully vaccinated and spayed
• Healthy with no known medical issues
MY PERSONALITY
My name is Khaki! I’m a calm, gentle, and people-friendly girl. I may be a little shy at first, but treats are the quickest way to my heart — once I warm up, I’m happy to be petted and handled. I enjoy food and am quite smart, which helps me learn quickly. I do have my own preferences, so if I don’t like something (like being dressed up), I’ll politely let you know. My unique look makes me extra special, and I’d love a family who appreciates my individuality.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
• With People: I can be shy with strangers and may bark at unfamiliar people, but I warm up quickly with treats. I can be comfortably held and picked up. I have not yet met children under 13.
• With Dogs: I will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but I’m not always interested in playing. I tend to feel more comfortable around dogs larger than me. While I generally coexist well with other dogs, I may react if a dog provokes me, so slow and supervised introductions are important. I usually ignore playful chaos and prefer observing, though I may occasionally join in. I do best in environments with larger, calm dogs rather than small, overly energetic ones.
• With Cats: I have not yet been tested with cats. (A cat test can be conducted upon request to ensure the best fit.)
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy outdoor activities and walks, and once I’ve had my exercise, I’m happy to relax quietly indoors. I have plenty of walking experience, walk nicely on leash without pulling, and follow my handler well.
TRAINING & HABITS
I have foster home experience and am well-adjusted to home life. I do not guard food from people or other dogs. I may bark when I want something or when I see unfamiliar people. I am calm and well-behaved in a kennel and usually prefer to potty outdoors.
MY IDEAL HOME
I’m looking for a calm, understanding family who can respect my boundaries while helping me feel safe and secure. I would do best in a home with:
• A patient family who understands that I may need time to warm up
• A stable environment with clear routines
• Experience with dogs or a willingness to learn my signals
• A home with larger, calm dogs if there are other pets
SPECIAL NOTES
I may need a little time to adjust in a new environment, especially when meeting new people or dogs. With patience, clear boundaries, and a calm routine, I settle in well and show my gentle, loyal nature. I do best when introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully, and I thrive with adopters who can read and respect my signals. Once I feel safe, I’m a wonderful, steady companion who enjoys both outdoor time and peaceful moments at home.
